Camp CARE is committed to providing a camp, and other year round activities for children, ages 3-17, who have or have had cancer, and their families in the Charlotte-Metrolina area.

Within this foundation, Camp CARE hopes to:

	To recognize that a child with cancer is first of all a child, who like all children, needs laughter, friends, and fresh air.
	To provide a summer camp experience, at no cost to the family, through fund-raising efforts, for children with cancer, supervised by a trained volunteer staff, including medical personnel.
	To provide opportunities for families of children with cancer to interact and develop coping skills.
	To increase awareness in the community of the needs of children with cancer.
